If you missed the 2016 Soul Train Awards last night (Nov. 27th), you missed a night full of funk, groove, love, and plenty soul.

Every year BET and Centric come together and give us this amazing event that celebrates of the R&B/Soul that is out there that doesn’t get the coverage it should on other award shows. It all went down in Las Vegas at the Oracle Arena filmed November 6th. Soul Train wasted no time to get us on our feet, as it kicked off the Pre-Show hosted by Tamar Braxton and Jay Ellis with Lloyd taking it back with his hit single “Get It Shawty” and he later went on to perform his latest single “Tru”.

The real show then started with second-time host the godmother of soul Erykah Badu but opened up with a surprise hit melody performance by Dru-Hill and from there the rest of the show was one for the books. Performances by Brandy, Teddy Riley, Eric Benét, Ma$e, Carl Thomas, Wreckx-n-Effect, Dru Hill, Guy, Bobby Brown, Anderson. Paak, Doug E. Fresh, Ro James, D.R.A.M., BJ The Chicago Kid, Yuna, Candice Boyd, Major., V.Bozeman, Tito Jackson, India.Arie, and the host herself Erykah Badu.

We’d like people to relive the vibe of the show with a few of the performances below as well as  the winners of the night. You can catch the award show reairing this Tuesday November 29th at 8 PM EST on BET !
