August Alsina he can’t stop, won’t stop as he releases new single “Don’t Matter” off of his forthcoming album Drugs after announcing devastating news about his health problems.
In this single, Alsina lets his lover know can’t get enough of her like an addiction as he promises to ride for her until the end of time regardless of the circumstances over the acoustic guitar-led production.
“Girl it don’t matter to me, I’ll bring us into the beach / Down in that ocean, we rockin’ a boat, girl you’re much like Aaliyah to me / One in a million, you one of a kind / Baby, you blowin’, you blowin’ my mind / All of my neighbours, they wanna know why (know why),” he sings.
Just the other day, the NOLA native released a teaser of an interview with him and his good friend Jada Pinkett-Smith where he reveals to the world that he is suffering from a liver disease. No word on when the release date of the full interview, but we continue to send our prayers to him and his family.
Doesn’t seem like it is slowing the R&B crooner down as he still is set to hit the road end of the month (July 27th) on his Don’t Matter Tour singer/actor Rotimi and rising artist and one of our 2016 Artist-To-Watch Tone Stith. (For dates, locations, and tickets head to AugustAlsina.com)
